Every Lock

Tells a Story

When I was young, I often felt like an outsider, disconnected from the education system, and even after earning my bachelor’s degree in 2021, I felt lost. I had dreadlocks, no money, and no clear direction, while everyone around me expected me to follow the traditional path of a “real” job. I couldn’t, and with no support, only doubt and pressure, I was forced to choose between conforming or creating my own path without a safety net.

About me

Loctician, creator and traveler

In 2018, I discovered freedom through travel, hitchhiking across Morocco with almost no money, meeting strangers, sharing stories, and feeling truly alive through connection and creativity. In 2019, I started a YouTube channel reacting to music videos, which slowly revealed how much music inspired me.

In 2021, meditation led to a powerful realization: finding a professional loctician in Morocco had been so hard, so why not become one? With no money or experience, I launched an Instagram page, learned, practiced, and promoted my work, visualizing clients before they existed. Over time, doubt turned into reality.

Over the past four years, I’ve worked with hundreds of clients worldwide, including artists and creatives who traveled to Morocco, mastering multiple dreadlocks techniques and building an independent business. Dreadlocks became more than a profession; it became my freedom, surrounding me with musicians and confirming music as part of my path. In early 2024, after my YouTube channel could no longer be monetized, I fully focused on dreadlocks; making 2025 my strongest year yet, working with internationally recognized clients.

Today, I no longer have dreadlocks myself. Cutting them was a personal decision; not one made because of people or pressure. In fact, I had already been successfully running my dreadlocks business for two years before making that choice. My commitment to this craft has never depended on appearance, but on experience, skill, and vision. That said, I’m currently growing my hair again. I don’t yet know if I’ll return to dreadlocks in the future; stay tuned.

To share everything I’ve learned, I created a collection of paid, in-depth dreadlocks courses, covering maintenance, repair, creation, and more. Each course includes multiple step-by-step video lessons, allowing you to truly learn the skills and do the work yourself.

The Road Ahead

New Chapter: From Morocco To South Africa

These courses are designed not only for aspiring loctitians, but also for individuals, couples, and families who want the freedom to care for dreadlocks independently. Whether you’re traveling, don’t trust passing through many loctitians, or simply want to maintain your own dreadlocks or your partner’s, your children’s, or your parents’ locks; the videos guide you clearly through each technique.

They’re also ideal for people who want to learn a practical skill, discover a new hobby, or build a side hustle alongside their main job. From personal care to advanced techniques, these courses give you the confidence and knowledge to take full control of dreadlocks care, on your own terms.

Now, a new chapter begins. I’m preparing for a long journey from Morocco to South Africa, traveling by bicycle, camping, meeting tribes and communities, and maintaining dreadlocks wherever the road takes me. Along the way, I’ll also be creating music; because I know I’m meant for something bigger: merging art, culture, music, and becoming one of the most recognized names in the world of dreadlocks.
